If I keep them in the garage do I need to water them?
I have alstroemeria plants in 2 ltr pots. How should I care for them during the winter?
They are hardy down to zone 7 ....here is a page on weather you need to mulch, etc.

Reply:I checked my RHS Good Plant Guide and they say "mulch and leave undisturbed".
This is not in containers, obviously, but I suppose the general idea is that the need some help, but not too much. They are frost hardy. It depends on where you live.
